Born from their passion for crafting their love for wine, their yen for the unusual, guided by wineman Peet Smith of Dagbreek, Thys and the Bacchus group have crafted this fine wine. The Cinsaut grape has formed the backbone for South African wine for many years. Used mostly as a blending wine in recent years , Cinsaut is seldom seen as a single cultivar wine. We have produced this wine as a revival of Cinsaut as a cultivar that can stand proud as a light red wine with soft tannins , perfect for easy drinking.
