Born from his passion for crafting his love for wine , his yen for the unusual, guided by winemen Peet Smith, Thys has crafted this fine wine.
The Nebiollo grape is not well known in South Africa but a stalwart in Italian wineries. It is bottled and consumed in great quantities in the colder north of Italy.
We have produced this one as a single cultivar wine because South Africans love meat and enjoy the open fire. With tough tannins it has required more than three years in the barrel to get it ready for you to enjoy.
